Johannesburg, South Africa – Tickets will go on sale today (Thursday) for the upcoming Euro/Africa Zone Group 2 Play-Off Davis Cup by PNP Paribas tie between South Africa and Ireland.
The tie to be played from 17 to 19 July 2015 will be hosted at the Irene Country Club in Pretoria.
The same popular venue hosted two Davis Cup Ties last year when South Africa beat Monaco then lost to Lithuania.
Tickets for the tie will be R100 for a day session or there is an option of a R250 “seasonal ticket” which covers three days of the tie. Tennis South Africa member receive a 30% discount. South Africa will name its sides for the tie on Tuesday 7 July.
The tie will be played on a medium to fast paced hard court with seats for 500 spectators.
Program for the tie:
Friday: 09h15 Opening Ceremony. The first singles rubber will start at 09h30 with the second rubber following immediately thereafter.
Saturday: 12h00 Doubles rubber.
Sunday: 09h30 First reverse singles rubber, followed by final singles rubber.
All the matches are played as the best of five sets until a result has been achieved.
